Father's Day Gift Guide

Sunday, June 21st--this year's official date for celebrating all things Dad. But, what do you buy the man who genuinely wishes that you won't spend a dime on him (is it just my Dad who loves hearing his gift was bought at 50% off...)? I might be biased, but I think my Dad is the best. It takes a certain kind of patience and kind heart to parent three girls so effortlessly. So, ignoring his requests for nothing, I have gathered some unique (and economical) items I think the Dads out there will appreciate. From disgusting black liquorice that only Dad's seem to like (thanks to Julia for this great idea), to cards and of course beer, there is something here for each kooky Dad out there!

  1. Easel Stand for iPad, $27.49 - Restoration Hardware
  2. Album Frame, $15 - Urban Outfitters
  3. Helles Style Lager, $5.50 - Old Flame Brewery
  4. Liquorice (prices vary) - Candy Bar
  5. Rifle Paper Co. card, $5.95 - Penney & Co.
  6. Jamie's Comfort Food cookbook, $23.82 - Indigo

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day is around the corner (Sunday, May 10th to be exact), so it's time to start thinking about what special something you can get for this oh-so-important lady in your life. You don't have to spend a fortune to show your appreciation, in fact I know most moms out there will surely tell you, it is the hand-written notes that mean the most. However, I know as I get older I like to pick out my mom a gift that she isn't likely to buy for herself. So, I have curated some stylish and inexpensive (everything is under $80) gifts that will be the perfect compliment to that DIY card!

  1. Necklace $79 - Stella and Dot
  2. The Perth Company Soap $10 - Penney & Co.
  3. Clinique Happy in Bloom Perfume Spray $59 - The Bay
  4. Sundry Scented Candle $42 - Love the Design
  5. Floral Scarf $14 - Joe Fresh
  6. Pink Ceramic Mug $17.50 - Indigo
